A pontiac firebird with the 326 v8 2 barell carb, automatic transmission that will make a great driver. The engine compartment looks very good and has the factory spare in the trunk. The interior is in very nice shape with the black vinyl interior. The car appears to have most of the original options and equipment, including the yj engine block code which is a 326 2 barell carb, column shift automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes. Hard to find the cars that haven't had there motors yanked out and bigger motors put in. This is a period correct motor, i do not know if it is the original motor but has correct 67 pontiac 326 engine code. Trim tag shows that is was an original black interior car and montego cream exterior paint. This will make a great driver at an very affordable price. Here is some history on the firebird the base model firebird came equipped with the ohc inline-6 and a single-barrel carburetor. Drum brakes were standard on the firebird with disc optional. Power steering was also an option. The 3 speed transmission was standard with a 4 speed manual and the automatic being optional. Convience options available were power windows, push button am or am-fm radio, rear speaker, clock, ac, speed control, underhood and trunk lamp, rear window defogger and hood mounted tach. Total weight was 3093 lbs. As i said before this is a very good example of a original equipped 326 powered firebird that is in nice driver quality.
